Cookies: Browser Permissions

Cookies, page memory, clipboard contents and downloaded files are not the same thing. Here is how they relate to this site.

Cookies and local storage

A cookie is a small value a site can ask a browser to store and return with later requests. Local storage is a separate browser mechanism that can retain information for a site without automatically including it in every request.

The site’s own editorial scripts do not set cookies, use local storage or store contact drafts between visits. They do not include advertising or analytics integrations. Any consent controls supplied separately by the hosting platform may retain a preference according to the information presented in those controls.

Blocking cookies does not prevent reading the supplied articles or using their basic navigation. Hosting and security infrastructure may have separate behaviour; this page describes the editorial site code rather than claiming to inventory every possible hosting configuration.

What the interactive features use

Storage and permissions in the supplied site features
FeatureWhat happensYour control
Mobile navigationOpen or closed state is kept in current page memory.Close the menu or leave the page.
Message preparationEntered text is assembled in the current page.Edit or clear fields; leaving can lose the draft.
Copy draftA user-initiated request writes the draft to your clipboard.Allow or deny browser access; manage clipboard history on your device.
Download draftA local text file is generated from the prepared message.Choose whether to keep or delete the file.
Scroll effectsThe browser observes whether an element enters the viewport.Reduced-motion settings disable the entry animation.

The scroll observer does not report viewing activity to a server. The supplied script uses it only to apply a visual class.

Clipboard and downloads

The Copy button attempts to write only the prepared draft, following your click. The site does not read your existing clipboard contents. Clipboard access may be unavailable because of browser support, permission settings or connection security. If copying fails, you can select the draft and use your device’s Copy command.

The Download button creates a plain-text file locally. It does not upload the draft or send email. Download history, file synchronisation and clipboard synchronisation may be handled by your device or other services you use.

Managing browser information

Use your browser’s site settings to inspect or remove cookies and site storage, change clipboard permissions, and manage cached files or saved form information. The exact controls differ between browsers. Clearing site data may also reset preferences managed by a separately supplied consent interface.

Browser caching and autofill can operate even when the site does not save drafts itself. On a shared device, check the clipboard, downloaded files and restored form fields before leaving.
